The Cornish Garden Club presents, “Becoming Wolf: The Eastern Coyote in New England,” by Christine Schadler.

This program delves into the ecology and behavior of the Eastern Coyote, which demonstrates the same tireless adaptability as its close relative, the Eastern Wolf. The Eastern Wolf, now endangered, appears to be trying to return to the northeast.  Similar in looks to the Eastern Coyote, it is often mistakenly killed.Chris will discuss the importance of protecting both species, as well as ways this can be done. It is through a deeper understanding and appreciation of these creatures that humans will find ways to coexist with them.
