Broadband Committee: Grant Approval Update.

The Broadband Committee just received confirmation that the grant application we filed on behalf of the Towns of Cornish and Plainfield, in conjunction with internet service provider HUB66, has been approved by the State of New Hampshire.  This grant should provide high speed fiber access to essentially all the remaining addresses in our two towns that do not have access to high speed (100 Mbps Download/100 Mbps Upload) service.  According to the grant, all installation work for fiber access must occur on or before September 30, 2026.  It is our understanding that HUB66 intends to commence fiber installation as soon as possible and to complete the build-out well before that date. We will provide further information about this project as soon as we receive it from HUB66.
